Using predominantly salvage woods from the Northwest forests, Robin's Turn makes bowls, platters,  round inlayed boxes, urns and my special and original "Spirit Lamp" on a Powermatic 3520 wood lathe.

A great deal of the wood I work with has been salvaged, with permission, from the Forest, or from Property undergoing tree removal.

More recently, I have sourced Ancient Redwood Burl from my friend George Buck in Eureka CA. This wood is Premium Grade and is used for my Round Box design with inlay.
